Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 27, 2026
1. Introduction
CV Flow provides a job application workflow tool that helps users upload, analyze, tailor, compare, track, and export resume and job application materials. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information when you use our website, application, and related services.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including account details, resume and CV content, job descriptions, application tracking data, generated messages, audio you submit for transcription, and support communications.
We also collect certain technical information automatically, including device and browser data, IP address, approximate location, usage logs, timestamps, and cookie data. We collect first-party analytics and attribution data by default for CV Flow's own measurement of traffic sources, signups, and product usage. When Google Ads campaign measurement is enabled, we may also collect or receive campaign attribution and conversion data tied to ad clicks and signups.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and manage accounts, provide core product functionality, parse and improve resumes, analyze job descriptions, generate AI-assisted content, maintain project and version history, support exports, secure the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support or privacy requests.
4. AI processing
Some CV Flow features use third-party AI service providers to process resume content, job descriptions, prompts, and audio in order to provide parsing, analysis, generation, bullet tightening, and transcription features.
AI-generated or AI-transcribed output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using them in a job application or communication.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies for login, security, and core product functionality. We also use first-party analytics and attribution cookies to understand traffic sources, signups, and product performance for CV Flow itself. When Google Ads campaign measurement is enabled, CV Flow may also use Google Ads tags or cookies to attribute ad clicks, signups, and campaign conversion performance. You can review these practices at any time from the Cookies & Analytics Notice in the footer or in-product settings.
CV Flow uses these tools for its own measurement and campaign reporting. We do not describe this as selling resume or job application data. If CV Flow later expands into regions such as the UK or EU, or materially changes its marketing tracking setup, we may add region-specific consent flows, additional disclosures, and any other controls required by applicable law.
6. How we share information
We share information with service providers that help us operate CV Flow, such as hosting, infrastructure, database, authentication, analytics, AI providers, and campaign measurement providers such as Google Ads when that measurement is enabled, plus professional advisers or authorities where legally necessary.
We do not sell resumes or job application materials to employers. We do not share your data with an employer unless you choose to export, send, or otherwise disclose it yourself.
7. Data retention
CV Flow keeps account data in active systems until you delete it, request deletion, or we no longer need it to operate the service. Today, active records are not automatically deleted on a scheduled timer while an account remains active.
If you delete a project or we process an account deletion request, linked active records in the application database are removed from current systems. Backup copies, security logs, and similar operational records may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten, rotated, or deleted under provider retention schedules.
Because backup and log retention settings vary by environment and provider, we do not promise immediate deletion from every backup or log system.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to, or limit certain processing of your information. At launch, export and deletion requests are handled through support-assisted workflows rather than a full self-serve account tool.
Send privacy requests to slevendar@gmail.com or slevendar@gmail.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before completing the request.
9. California privacy disclosures
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under California privacy law, subject to applicable exceptions. CV Flow will handle qualifying requests through the support-assisted process described above.
10. International transfers
Information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one in which you reside. We rely on service providers and safeguards that are appropriate for the jurisdictions in which we operate.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
12. Children
CV Flow is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will update the effective date above and take additional steps where required by law.
